In March, 2020 Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort, Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel and The Slot Palace & Bingo Hall voluntarily closed for an initial two-week period following Governor Whitmer.
As we open our doors for a new chapter of action and excitement, we invite you to Play It Safe.
Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort and The Slot Palace & Bingo Hall are committed to guest and team member safety. On March 16, 2020, at the outset of the Coronavirus pandemic in Michigan, Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort and The Slot Palace & Bingo Hall closed and remained closed until May 28, 2020, reopening at a time many other casinos across the country were reopening.
During the casino closures, we spent time learning about the Coronavirus and implementing a Health and Sanitation Plan to responsibly reopen. This Plan includes:
All guests and team members are required to wear masks
The central beverage station is open with full-service provided by team members
All guests and team members have temperature checks before entering the casino and resort
Each department has additional measures in place specific to those individual areas
Every other slot machine has been turned off to achieve social distancing
Social distancing markers have been installed in appropriate places throughout the facility
Acrylic dividers have been installed at close interaction areas, including at all table games
Additional hand sanitation stations and sanitization wipe stations have been installed
Guests and team members are encouraged to wash and sanitize their hands frequently, self-assess and stay home if they do not feel well
“Clean Teams” are dedicated to the continuous cleaning of slot machines and other high touch surfaces

Our experience has been that these safety protocols are effective, particularly the requirement that all team members and guests wear masks. Contact tracing indicates that Coronavirus transmission typically occurs outside of the casino environment where masks may not have been worn and other protocols may not have been followed. We will continue to review our protocols in all areas of our operation and make adjustments as deemed appropriate.
Nothing is more important than the health and safety of our guests and team members. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we move forward together.
